Sara-Jane Rindos lives north of Livingston, in the beautiful Shields Valley, with her husband, dogs and horses. Her three children are scattered around North America, attending school and providing Sara-Jane with ample opportunities to travel, which is a passion of hers.Since Sara-Jane’s great-great grandfather was one of the first white men to settle in Montana Territory, she’d like to say she is almost a native, she just skipped a few generations. In actuality she grew up and was educated in a small town in northwestern Connecticut before moving to Montana. Aside from travel her interests include reading, horse-back riding, skiing and cooking.

While her children were younger she was involved in their schools, serving on the parochial school board, and the PTO. She is a board member of the Yellowstone Gateway Museum, a Friend of the Park County Library, and serves as an officer on the Park County Board of Realtors.
